Seasonal Oatmeal Porridge

With oat flakes (Avena sativa) you can prepare a healthy breakfast rich in fibre, protein, phosphorus and magnesium. Adding seasonal fresh fruit and dried fruit adds flavour, vitamins and fibre to this breakfast. The possibilities are endless, and you’ll never get bored.

Oats contain beta-glycans known to reduce blood cholesterol. Today we made an oatmeal porridge with soy milk, nuts, blueberries, raspberries and banana.


  • Whole grain organic oatmeal
  • Soy milk (or another vegetal milk)
  • Banana
  • Fresh fruit in season
  • Nuts (walnuts, hazelnuts, …)

Put the milk in a saucepan, add the desired amount of oatmeal and cook for 5 minutes. Stir and add the bananas, cut into pieces and mashed. When the consistency of the porridge (more or less liquid) suits you, it is ready. 

Serve warm in a bowl, adding fresh fruit and dried fruit according to the season and your taste.
